PLAYERS
My name is Alex B. and I have been training with Chris Lekavich ever since I was 12 years old. I have played on the Pateadores, United FC and West Coast FC and throughout all of my youth experimenting with different clubs, Chris is, without a doubt, the best Goalie Trainer and mentor I have ever had the chance to learn from. Training with Chris has helped me a lot with my success in goalkeeping. The most recent being the Championship in the Arsenal Tournament in Temecula, CA. His ability, as a goalkeeper trainer, excels me to much higher levels than any other trainer that I have worked with. He can help with vertical jumping, horizontal diving, speed training, as well as the mental aspects of the game. Through his knowledge of the game, both physically and mentally, he can prepare you for any situation that comes along the way. He puts his keepers through many different drills which increase ones agility, speed, and reflexes in order to be the best they can be physically. Mentally, he implants a strong sense of reading of the game into your head by combining repetitiveness in his drills which build up proper form, to switching it up quick in order for you to adapt to the situation. Once all of these aspects are put into place, their is no reason for any goalkeeper to fail under the wide knowledge of soccer that Chris has. Without Chris, I would not be where I am today.
December 2013. Nate B. won the MVP of the Anaheim Surf Winter Classic; with the Irvine Strikers U14.
Chris has helped me with every dynamic and dimension of goalkeeping from distribution to technique to tactical strategy .
Chandler K. featured in the Fall 2013 South Orange County High School Illustrated pg 36-39.
2013 Chandler won the Golden Glove Award in the National Championship Tournament. He played on the U17 team for West Coast Futbal Club in Laguna Hills.
When I was asked "Who's your biggest inspiration in your life? And Why?" I replied: "Chis Lekavich my goalkeeper trainer has been a huge inspiration for me. He will meet me at 6am or fit me into his busy schedule. Chris pushes me to be the best I can be both on and off the field. He tells it to me straight and never lets me off the hook. He pays attention to details of my goalkeeping techniques and makes me work hard with repetition of drills to fine tune my skills. During training, Chris manages to listen to me and share life lessons with me. I leave each session inspired and exhausted."
Cyrus M. 2014. My name is Cyrus Mohseni and I have been playing soccer since I was three years old. I have played competitively since I was twelve as well as trained with numerous keeper trainers from all over the United States and around the world. Among the best trainers has been Christopher Lekavich. His knowledge of the game combined with his desire to help others, not only reach their goals but excel when they achieve them, has truly been a gift to me. I have had many ups and downs in my career since I started working with Chris and whether I had just gotten released from a club or won a championship he has always been there to help me succeed. Chris' focus on technique along with always working on the mental aspect of the position is a recipe for success for any player at
any level. I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Chris - QUICKHANDS.
